A note from Sean
Focus fuels mindfulness. It is our capacity to stay with each moment as it unfolds, for longer and longer. We all get distracted. When it happens, don’t tend to the distraction. Just come back.
Try this today. At the end of today, take one breath and feel your feet. Then write short answers to two questions from the worksheet: What was the focus of my day? Did my focus change, and what brought about the change? Add one action you will take tomorrow.
Keep going: Focus and Eliminating Distractions and Focused Attention to Settle the Mind.
This suits anyone whose days feel scattered. If you find yourself judging what you did not finish, go gently. Notice the judgment and soften it a little. Stop when you need to.
