Questions nurses ask
Will my board accept these hours for RN renewal?
Continuing Education is sponsored by Mindful CECs. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP17985, for 37.5 contact hours. Mindful CECs is also approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Outside California, nursing boards vary in how they treat contact hours from another state's approved provider. Confirm with your board before you enroll. Is this live or recorded?
Self-paced homestudy (asynchronous recorded video). Online at learn.mindfulnessexercises.com — begin any time; there are no live session dates.
How and when do I get my certificate?
Completion requires watching all module videos and passing each module assessment with a score of at least 75%. Up to 3 attempts are allowed per assessment. A course evaluation is requested from all participants. Certificates of completion are issued immediately upon completion and stored in your account.
Do I have to take all four pathways?
No. Each pathway stands alone and carries its own CE contact hours, so you can take one and stop. All four together are $497 for 37.5 CE contact hours — about $13 per hour — which saves $207 versus enrolling separately.
How do I report the hours to my board?
Your certificate of completion lists your name, license type and number, the exact program title, the number of CE contact hours, the completion date, and the Mindful CECs sponsor statement. Most boards either want that certificate uploaded at renewal or want it kept on file in case you are audited. It stays in your account, so you can download it again years later.
Is there a deadline to finish?
No. Registration is open year-round, access begins immediately after checkout, and your access does not expire — you can work through the modules over a weekend or across several months.
