Mindfulness Exercises was founded in 2015 by Sean Fargo with the goal of making mindfulness and meditation teaching simple and accessible for everyone. What began as a free online resource with a few meditations and worksheets has grown into the world’s leading online mindfulness teacher training platform, reaching over 20 million people through our website and social media channels. By partnering with some of today’s top mindfulness practitioners and teachers, we strive to make teaching mindfulness and meditation available to anyone who has the sincerity and compassion to help others in these challenging times.

Sean Fargo

Sean Fargo

Sean Fargo is a seasoned mindfulness teacher and the founder of Mindfulness Exercises, a platform dedicated to making mindfulness accessible to everyone. Sean's journey into mindfulness began after a successful career in international business, during which he was a Director of Product Development and Procurement in Beijing. Despite his business success, Sean felt called to explore deeper aspects of life, leading him to ordain as a Buddhist monk in the Thai Theravada tradition. He spent two years immersed in monastic life, learning the art of mindfulness and meditation from some of the most respected teachers in the field.

Upon returning to the Western world, Sean sought to bridge the gap between traditional mindfulness practices and modern life. He worked closely with renowned meditation teacher Jack Kornfield at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and became a trainer for Google’s mindfulness program. Sean’s work extends to advising technology startups like Elevate Labs and WellBrain.io, as well as teaching mindfulness to top executives at companies such as PG&E, Reddit, and DocuSign.

In 2015, Sean founded Mindfulness Exercises to share the transformative power of mindfulness with a broader audience. His platform offers a wealth of free and premium resources, including guided meditations, worksheets, and a comprehensive mindfulness teacher certification program. With a mission to help others develop mindfulness with integrity and compassion, Sean has impacted over 20 million people worldwide. Through his teachings, Sean continues to inspire others to live more present, loving, and resilient lives, especially in challenging times.

Sara-Mai Conway

Sara-Mai Conway

A writer, yoga and meditation instructor living and working in Baja Sur, Mexico, Sara-Mai teaches online and in her tiny, off-grid hometown on the Pacific coast.

Her meditations are influenced by her advanced studies in yogic philosophy and her personal practice, which is firmly rooted in the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. She was empowered as a teacher in this tradition in 2019.

Gillian

Gillian Florence Sanger

Gillian is a writer, meditation teacher, and certified hypnotherapist in the spiritual counseling practice of Depth Hypnosis. Her writings and teachings are deeply inspired by the wisdom of nature - within and around us.

In addition to her certification as a hypnotherapist, Gillian is a certified yoga teacher (200 hr) and holds a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition. She has roots in Toronto, Ontario but currently lives in the Swedish countryside.

Jennifer Carter

Jennifer Carter

Jennifer is a certified meditation teacher, coach, and Social Meditation facilitator.

She helps individuals and groups cultivate wellbeing in relationship with themselves and others. She also offers opportunity to expand personal meditation practice into relational experience through a variety of interactive Social Meditation practices which effectively support: concentration, collective engagement, relational awareness, embodied presence, and mindful response. 

Jeremy

Jeremy Lipkowitz

Jeremy teaches mindfulness and emotional intelligence practices at universities, recovery centers, and companies throughout Asia and the US.

He has a Master’s degree in Genetics and Genomics and spent time living and training as a Buddhist monk in Myanmar. He now combines his science-based expertise and hunger for personal development to help others achieve genuine peace and fulfillment.

Meg James

Meg James

Lucky enough to be introduced to meditation at the young age of 4, Meg James’ journey is one of forgetting, then remembering, the value of this profound practice.

Meg holds a degree in Psychology from Swinburne University and an Advanced Diploma of Yoga and Meditation Teaching from the Australian Yoga Academy. In 2014, she left a corporate career to teach mindfulness full time. Her meditation recordings have reached over 4 million worldwide.

Giovanni Dienstmann

Giovanni Dienstmann

Giovanni Dienstmann is a self-discipline coach, meditation teacher, and author who focuses on the intersection between wisdom, empowerment, and peace.  

Through his books, blog, and app, he teaches an awareness-based approach to self-development called The Higher Mind Method. His work combines insights from mindfulness, wisdom traditions, personal development, and psychology to give you a practical roadmap to personal growth.

Danny Grieco

Danny's life has been at the intersection of 2 worlds. On one hand, he's spent 15+ years in the high-stress tech and startup industry, particularly in sales. On the other hand, he has, by necessity, had a mindfulness practice over 7 years, including silent retreats, teacher training certification, and academic study. He now teaches neuroscience-based mindfulness and emotional intelligence trainings to sales teams and to tech companies like Facebook and Amazon. He feels that while the tech industry has a lot of intelligence, it could use wisdom and compassion too.

Simona is a mindfulness practitioner, Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and founder of Mindful Copy Agency. She believes that we can change the world for the better when we come together and use our passions and talents to help others.
