In this guided meditation, Sean Fargo invites you to pause, settle in and connect with your body, and to practice gentle awareness: being present with your experience without judging it as good or bad, right or wrong, and without striving for any particular outcome. It is an offering to simply be with what is, whether you are new to mindfulness or returning after a long day. You can sit, lie down or move, with the eyes open looking downward or gently closed.

Show Notes:
A grounding in gentle, nonjudgmental awareness
From the very beginning, Sean emphasizes a tone of softness. He describes the practice as bringing gentle awareness to this experience, and suggests playing with which part of that phrase to emphasize. The meditation invites us to notice the breath and the body, and also the quality of the attention we bring to them: forceful or tender, tight or open.
A chance to drop into the body with simplicity and ease
The practice is a simple sensory invitation to notice where your body meets the ground or seat. You’re guided to feel the inhales and exhales and the sensations in the feet and other parts of the body — whatever is arising, just as it is. By resting awareness here, we can notice how the body anchors us in the present moment.
Mindful presence without trying to change or fix
Sean frames the practice as noticing what is already here instead of trying to feel any particular way. He says there is nothing you need to do and nowhere to go, and he suggests there is no need to judge, label or fix the experience. The breath does not need to be deeper and the mind does not need to be quieter. Everything is allowed to be just as it is.
An embodied experience of stillness and space
As the practice continues, Sean invites a fuller awareness of embodied experience, including the body, mood and emotional tone, without reducing it to thoughts or analysis. The invitation is to let any stillness arise on its own.
A closing return to daily life, rooted in kindness
Toward the end of the meditation, you’re invited to reconnect with your environment and body — perhaps by taking a few deep breaths, feeling the support beneath you, or gently wiggling your fingers or toes. There is gratitude here — for showing up, for pausing, for simply being. Sean invites listeners to carry gentle awareness into every conversation, breath, and choice throughout the day.
