    A note from Sean

The words matter less than the feeling. If the phrases on this worksheet do not land, try one word, like safe, healthy, happy, or ease, and really sense into it. Some people treat the phrases as a wish and some as a prayer. The invitation is to feel care, warmth, or benevolence for yourself and for others.

Try this today. Take three slow breaths. Then say “May I be well and happy” once, and smile softly at your lips and jaw, as the worksheet does. Notice any warmth, or notice that there is none.

This suits beginners and long-time practitioners alike. If wishing yourself well stirs up grief, resistance, or old pain, go gently: pick one word and stay with that. Stop when you need to.
