    A note from Sean

Try this today. Put a block of quiet time on your calendar for this week, as an appointment you keep, in a length you know you will honor. Write the note you will put on your door or in your status: “In quiet time, back at…” When the time comes, silence the phone, sit, and feel your breath for a few minutes before anything else.

Keep going: The Importance Of Finding Quiet Time and Mindful Pause.

This suits anyone who works with people all day and rarely gets a quiet stretch. If silence stirs up worry or loneliness, go gently: keep it short, sit near a window, or keep your eyes open. Stop when you need to.
