A note from Sean
Years ago I asked myself what a successful life would be for me. The people I admired most were deeply present, compassionate, resilient, and loving. That became my north star, and much else fell away.
Try this today. Take a blank page and draw a word cloud of what you care about most at work. Write the biggest cares large and the smaller ones small. Do the same on a second page for life outside work. Then check your week against the large words, and give one of them twenty minutes today.
Keep going: Identifying Personal Values and Aligning With Your Purpose.
This suits a career crossroads, a new year, or any time work and life feel out of step. If the page shows a gap that hurts, such as a job that no longer fits, take it as a first look only and go gently. Stop when you need to.
