There's something mature as seeing the path as a slow path. Part of the slow is to be in it in the long term. And be in it in a steady ongoing way and letting it unfold and develop as it goes. To do it slow, implies that it's very important for it to be slow. If it's fast it might be a disservice to you, If it's fast it's too easy for the speed of for it to be conceited.
To take it slow and not be in a hurry, and have it not connected to our conceit, not connected to our arrogance, not connected to our greed. Take it slow steady ongoing as a way of just being. Somewhat humble or not conceited, not caught-up in one's self.
