A note from Sean
I keep a top-ten list of moments I easily feel grateful for: a connection, an accomplishment, a quiet moment of peace. Reflecting on one near the start of a practice can help the mind settle and focus.
Try this today. Draw or write three things you are grateful for right now. Start with the basics: you are alive, you are breathing. Take one breath after each and feel it in your chest. Then put the page where you will see it.
Keep going: Gratitude For Breath, Body And Mind and A Body Gratitude Meditation Script.
This suits a flat or stressful day. If giving thanks brings up grief, go gently. Stop when you need to.
