Our body is always here with us, and yet we are not always aware of it. Sean Fargo leads this gentle guided meditation inviting us to sense into the body as a way of coming home to it.

    A note from Sean

So often we get caught up in the future or the past. Can we come home to our bodies? Can we be here? I like the word belonging for this: I belong here.

Try this today. At a doorway, a red light, or while a page loads, feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body on the seat. Take one full breath. Do this three times today. That is enough.

If sensing the body feels like too much, whether from pain, illness, or trauma, feel only your feet, or open your eyes and rest your hands on your knees. Go gently. Stop when you need to.
