A note from Sean
At work most of us live in our heads, thinking, analyzing, and planning. I find it helps to invite more chances to inhabit the whole body, and to use gentle words like softening, releasing, and opening. We aren’t forcing anything. We soften into it bit by bit.
Try this today. Pick one moment today when you will stop, such as before your first email or when you sit down after lunch. Lower your eyes and take three slow breaths. Feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body in the chair, and let your shoulders soften. If you have two minutes, stay longer, as the worksheet suggests. Then write down when you will do it again tomorrow, as question 3 asks.

This suits anyone who works at a desk, in a shop, or at home. If work stress is running high or you feel close to burnout, go gently. Stop when you need to.
