A note from Sean
If I put up a flyer for a mindfulness class, I would probably get some people. If it said a class for men in their 40s who are struggling to balance work and life, I think many more would say, that’s me. It is the same practices, framed for someone.
Try this today. Sit for three minutes and picture one person you would love to support. Ask what they long for and what they struggle with. Then write one sentence on what you would offer them.
Keep going: Aligning With Your Purpose and Overcome Impostor Syndrome and Share Mindfulness.
This suits new and experienced teachers alike. If your vision is not clear yet, that is fine; the worksheet says it clarifies over time. If the person you picture brings up your own hard memories, go gently. Stop when you need to.
