Speaker 2 · 0:14You know, so you can schedule it in your calendar to listen to a guided meditation or to guide yourself into a practice. I recommend at least 10 minutes a day if you can. If you don't think you have 10 minutes a day, then that's usually a sign that you need 20 minutes a day. Just kind of a joke, but there's a lot of truth to it. Having an accountability partner to check in with on a regular basis to check in with your partner to see, hey, are you meditating, or did you meditate yesterday, or did you practice mindfulness? Just supporting one another can be helpful. So finding someone to be an accountability partner. Also, it can be very helpful to reflect on the consequences, the negative consequences of not being mindful, not practicing mindfulness for meditation. So, what are the negative consequences of not practicing on your mental health? What are the negative consequences of not practicing on your physical health? On your ability to learn and perform? What are the consequences on your relationships in your creativity? And to really feel into that, allow yourself to feel that consequence, whatever that is, and then also to reflect on the positive benefits that you do experience when you are mindful, when you are open and non-judgmental. What are the positive consequences on your mental health? What are the positive consequences on your physical health, your relationships, your studies, your creativity, and really allow yourself to feel the beauty of that? And so you know how it feels when you don't practice, and you know how it feels when you do practice. And can you remind yourself of those consequences as often as you can, like in your bones? And when you feel that, and when you really accept those feelings and those consequences and the benefits, that will usually give you the leverage to want to practice more and to take it on as a routine in your lifestyle, so that can give you the leverage and the incentive to make time everything else in your life. And I don't invite you to like believe that, I ask you to try that. Is that true for you?
