A note from Sean
When I first started presenting, I tried to be like certain people, and I wasn’t really myself. Now I ask what my strengths are and when I feel alive sharing this. Don’t try to fit someone else’s mold. When you bring more of you into the room, people can feel it.
Try this today. Sit for a few minutes and ask the worksheet’s question: What are the unique gifts, stories, and insights I have to share? Don’t hurry the answer. Then write down one story or one favorite quote you could bring to your next session, and let that, not a teacher you admire, set the tone.

This suits aspiring and working teachers who catch themselves copying someone else. If self-criticism gets loud, go gently. Stop when you need to.
