    A note from Sean

When I guide a meditation, I try to speak from the heart, not the head. People can feel the difference. Part of the purpose is to ease suffering and to help people find the courage to open to their experience without judgment. There is a lot of heart in that.

Try this today. Take one minute before your next session. Rest a hand on your chest and feel three full breaths there. Ask quietly, “Why do I want to share this?” Don’t chase an answer. Write down whatever comes, even half a sentence, and carry it into the room.

This suits new and experienced teachers getting ready for a session, workshop, or program. If the question brings up doubt or old hurt, go gently. Stop when you need to.
