A note from Sean
Before we eat, it’s a good practice to ask where the food came from. Who grew it, moved it, sold it? What did it take for the rain, the soil, and the seeds to come together?
Try this today. At your next meal or glass of water, pause before the first bite and picture that rain, soil, and seed. Then take three breaths and feel each one as an exchange with the air around you.
This suits anyone who feels cut off or alone in a hard stretch. If picturing the body in detail is uncomfortable, or pain or illness is close, stay with the breath and go gently. Stop when you need to.
