If you’ve ever felt like you’re living from the neck up, grinding through life while your body trails behind, this conversation is a reset.
We sit down with Master Ming Tong Gu, Wisdom Healing Qigong teacher and author of Coming Home to Embodied Awakening, to talk about a truth that sounds simple but changes everything: your body isn’t a problem to solve, it’s the place you come home to.
We go deep into what “exile from the body” actually looks like, from Ming Tong’s own story of growing up in rural China with decades of asthma, scoliosis, and chronic pain, to the way many of us chase happiness through external achievement, relationships, and constant self-improvement.
From there, we name what’s making disconnection worse right now: post-pandemic isolation, screen addiction, and the rising existential pressure of AI.
If machines can process information faster than we can, what makes being human meaningful? Ming Tong’s answer is grounded in embodied awakening: the human body lets us directly feel life, including joy, grief, love, discomfort, and the mystery of being here.
You’ll also get a short guided initiation meditation (hand on heart) you can do immediately, plus practical frameworks for somatic healing and mindfulness: a reframe of suffering as disconnection and liberation as return, and the “Three A’s” for working with pain, stress, and emotional overwhelm: acceptance, activation, and appreciation.
If you care about mindfulness, nervous system regulation, Qigong, trauma healing, and genuine connection in the age of technology, this is for you.
Check out Mingtong’s book and explore his teachings, then subscribe, share this with a friend who feels disconnected, and leave a review so more people can find the path back home to their bodies.

<a class="no-underline" href="#welcome-and-guest-introduction">Welcome And Guest Introduction</a>
Speaker 1 · 0:00Welcome everyone to the Mindfulness Exercises Podcast. I'm Sean Fargo. Today I'm really glad to welcome Master Ming Tong Gu. He's a teacher of wisdom healing Qigong, a lineage going back thousands of years, and the founder of the Qi Center and the Southwest Sanctuary for Embodied Wisdom in New Mexico in Santa Fe. Named Qigong Master of the Year, he trained at China's renowned medicinalist hospital under Grandmaster Dr. Peng Ming, where thousands of people recovered from so-called incurable conditions through energy practice alone. He has since guided more than a hundred thousand people in 47 countries. I got to know Master Gu at Spirit Rock Meditation Center where I was working for five years. And every time Ming Tong Gu would come to teach classes or retreats, you could tell that he embodies what he teaches. He's a bright, energetic, shiny, lovely human being who radiates a sense of love and compassion and joy and brings smiles to I think everyone who he met. And it's helped so many people heal from all sorts of conditions, both physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. I believe that his practices that I've witnessed firsthand have a very strong healing power. Ming Tong makes these practices very practical, accessible, and very doable for everyday people. Ming Tong's own path began in rural China during the Cultural Revolution. A childhood injury left him with decades of asthma, scoliosis, and chronic pain, and he became the first person from his village to go to college. He later studied in the US and then returned to China, not just to learn a method, but to come home to his own body. Qi Gong didn't only change his health, it changed his relationship with being human. His new book, called Coming Home to Embodied Awakening, is part memoir, part living practice. The invitation is very simple and very timely. Your body is not a problem to solve. It is the place you come home to, especially in this age of AI, speed, and digital exile that a lot of us are feeling right now. Jack Canfield wrote the forward. Jack Cornfield and Tara Brock and Chip Conley are among those who praised it. I encourage everyone to check out the book and to visit the Chi Center's website. Master Ming Tong Gu, welcome. It's great to see you again. It's an honor to have you here.
Speaker 2 · 3:08Thank you so much, Zhang. It's great to be Le Connect here again. Wonderful.
<a class="no-underline" href="#feeling-exiled-from-the-body">Feeling Exiled From The Body</a>
Speaker 1 · 3:13Yeah, so in your book, you write that many of us have become refugees in our own skin. What did that exile look like in your own life growing up in post-cultural revolution China, living for decades with asthma and pain? And what first began to bring you home to your own body?
Speaker 3 · 3:36Honestly, I didn't even realize I was disconnected from my body. My mind was busy struggling, struggling, and analyzing, kind of fixing or looking for whatever solution. Occasionally, of course, more than average people feel the restriction of the body, feel the pain. Even in my case, difficult to breathe from time to time. It's like, oh, feeling these limitations. But beyond that, I did everything possible. Treating it, fixing it, living with it. Ultimately, I learned to live with them. Almost like forget about it. Okay. That's what I'm going to live with my whole life. So that's what it is, life. Not until discovered Qigong in Columbus, Ohio, 10 years after I moved to the US. That's another interesting part. It's like I never heard of Qigong when I grew up in China.
Speaker 2 · 4:34So I discovered Qigong in Columbus, Ohio 10 years after I moved to US.
Speaker 3 · 4:39And I was shocked to slow a friend I may met as a slow art, and she's wine. She was teaching Tai Chi and Shigong this from Qi Gong was surprised. But we're friends, so I was curious enough to experience this low her classes and then become very serious, very quickly dedicated. And then from her teacher, Luke Chen, he was teaching this from Qigong in the US. Then I discovered the original teacher in China, went back to China to study very seriously. But honestly, in the beginning, I was doing it not for health reasons. It's more for spiritual reasons, but I cannot really name it at the time. Ultimately, one of the most fundamental longings for me is I grew up kind of difficult childhood and didn't have a sense of belonging and absence of stability and safety, even absence of happiness basically. I left my home country all the way to the US. Not because I choose to, but more like accident. So the seeking for happiness was very strong for me at the time. And seeking for connection, I discovered that later in my life. So these two idealizing is inseparable. If I feel disconnected, I won't feel happy or safe even. Vice versa. But slow this practice of Qigong, I gradually discover a sense of connection with myself and sense of connection with others, sense of connection with life. That deeper connection is not dramatic. Give me a sense of happiness. And this happiness is a little bit different. It's like, okay, I felt unhappy, trying different ways looking for happiness, most time external. In relationship, in accomplishment, in success, right? Whatever might be. But this is like a different kind of happiness. A more sense of inner subtleness, inner peace in my skin. I don't have to look in for whatever accomplishment, whatever prove outside me. On one hand, it's subtle, on the other hand, it's so profound. It's not like happening just overnight. But luckily, I was able to do the practice very disciplined right away. And that's one of my qualities. When I put my heart into something, I become very dedicated. Later on, realizing not everybody likes this, you know. So now I'm teaching students how to be disciplined, creating a consistent practice. And that was not the issue for me, but realizing that is the main challenge for most of us. So I put a lot of effort nowadays, creating a structure, creating a system, creating a support for people able to really create a consistent practice, as you know, that is the key.
<a class="no-underline" href="#discovering-qigong-and-inner-home">Discovering Qigong And Inner Home</a>
Speaker 3 · 7:42In terms of discovering the importance of coming home to my body, I will share two experiences. One is during the beginning of my two-year training, and I was going slow. Recovery, it's like natural recovery from this old condition. I'll consider maybe the last stage of total recovery from asthma, scorosis about the same time. And I received a transmission from my teacher's wife. She told me, now you have discovered your home and you can come home often, anytime now. My first response was maybe like a kind message from her inviting me to come back to the center anytime, you know, the medicine hospital. But then I realized it's not about them. But at least I felt immediately from her message. Home is here. It's in my body. My whole life up to that point, I was looking for a home, different home when I grow up, different even countries, and different home intimate relationships. And the seeking becomes from lack of seeking. And that moment feels like all the seeking stopped. You can relate to this. Everything we're looking for is inside of us already. That is the moment, realizing that it's cheerful, but deeply healing, deeply awakening. It's like initiation, deep initiation, realizing the home is right here. And everything I've been seeking is already inside of me. That's this outcome of this ongoing practice. In the beginning, we're thinking we're doing a healing practice, but it's really the question of who am I, what I'm looking for, is ongoing in this whole five, six years of journey. So when I start to teach, people come to me, oh, have all these different conditions, want to make a difference in the health, in the emotional relationship, in life in general. It's all more focused on like fixing problems. I begin to ask the students a different question. Why do you want to heal? Why do you want to fix this problem? What are you really looking for? Truly looking for? We're all looking for the same thing. No matter what is the problem, immediate diagnosis, immediate life challenge problem you want to fix. Deep down, we're all looking for the same thing. You simply put it, of course, health, but also love, joy, fulfillment of life. And deep down, we're looking for connection. I started speaking about that more openly. And then I realized by addressing the deeper longing, we're addressing the deeper problem, so to speak. Because energy is not something other than who we are. Often people thinking working with energy, okay, analyzing what is the problem of the body, how do you work with energy, changing whatever you want to change. My new insight, more powerfully realized two years ago. The energy we're working with is not something other than who we are. Often we think in the body is something separate from who we are. Even early days, I recognize this body is my home, but still separate. It's like, okay, occasionally come home. It's separate from me. This me is more like identity, stories, whatever concept. It's almost like abstract me. But two years ago, realizing everybody is talking about consciousness as if it's like a ghost. This body is more than just home. The body is more than an object. The body is more than what I used to think. This body is more than what everybody thinks it is. That's where I explore much more deeply. And over the time, I couldn't sleep until I write this book. Coming home to embodied awakening. So, what I'm trying to share is we're all looking for the right thing, the good thing. Love, joy, health, healing, fulfillment, connection. But unfortunately, we're looking for the right thing in the wrong place. Simply put it, in the mental dimension, outside of us, with something else, someone else. And hardly go internal. So when we say go internal, it's not a concept. It's like you go into your body, it's not like go internally as a concept.
Speaker 4 · 12:14Often we're talking about heart. Where's your heart? The heart is in your body, right here, inside of you.
Speaker 3 · 12:21But then we go into the body, then we carry all this diagnosis, stories, concept. What the body is, it's a mental. I'm guiding everybody to discover what is this body from your experience beyond the story, beyond diagnosis, even beyond expectation. Oh, I need to fix this problem in my body. I need to reverse this condition. What I'm really inviting is this continuously discovery of this body, like recovering yourself by discovering your body that's different from recovering from a disease or recovering from problems. The more you're able to recover who you are, the truth inside of you, the more naturally, whatever condition in there, limitation, disease, suffering, even, naturally recover itself.
Speaker 1 · 13:14Thank you. It's very profound. And I'm really happy to hear about the evolution of your own awakening and how you communicate this and share this with others. I think a lot of people, when they think of say qigong, they think of a set of movements. What you're speaking to here sounds like there's so much more to just say moving the body in a certain way or even connecting with energy in a certain way. You're incorporating a lot of heart connection, safety, and finding that sense of peace within ourselves. So I'm curious if you're willing to share like what happened two years ago when you had this epiphany or these insights about coming home to embodied awakening. When I hear you talk now, it feels almost a little bit more expansive, more integrated with heart. You always have had big heart, but it feels like you're talking from the heart and wanting to help people to find what they're actually looking for beyond physical healing.
Speaker 3 · 14:31Yeah, thank you for asking.
<a class="no-underline" href="#pandemic-disconnection-and-digital-addiction">Pandemic Disconnection And Digital Addiction</a>
Speaker 3 · 14:33Honestly, from pain. And the pandemic, everybody had an extraordinary experience, dramatic, intense experience of pandemic. I call this a collective trauma we experienced in humanity. Not only isolation, all these different levels of challenges we faced. And that is continued. But one of the coming out of that is isolation, disconnection. One of that impact is also so much addiction to the digital world. But because of the circumstances, we just spent so much time in the screen in the technology. Personally, it's my pain as a father watching my kids become addicted to video games. And come out of that is losing connection with life, with themselves. And that's not just happened occasionally. That means last five years every day. That means continuing. And I tried everything possible, finally realizing I cannot fight this game. I will never win this game. This digital addiction. So I'm also realizing not only they're addicted, not only so many kids addicted, not only so many parents experiencing similar challenges, the pain as I experienced, but I'm realizing our generation is also addicted. I'm realizing the whole humanity is moving towards this direction of addiction. That's what's happening. But more than that, beyond just addiction, I'm realizing the separation become much, much more. Overall, disconnection is amplified by this digital phenomenon or digital addiction. So in that time, the AI played an important role in my awakening.
Speaker 2 · 16:34Nowadays, everybody asking the question, okay, AI mentally, in a way, more capable than human beings now. So what's the meaning of life now for us?
Speaker 3 · 16:44Not beyond just the job, losing job, you know, all the stuff is happening, but the deeper existential question. What's the deeper meaning being human now? So on one hand, I see this disconnection, this addiction is happening in the human, not just future, it's happening now already, much more amplified. But on the other hand, is force me to ask in a deeper question. You know, we're all forced to ask in that question one another. Sooner or later we're gonna face this deeper question. What to be mean to be human in this time right now on the planet Earth? And it was not an easy question. What I've been discovering, the uniqueness of being human, is not so much of the mind capacity. The essential difference of me and the AI or machine, artificial intelligence in general, is me being human because I have this human body. This human body allows me to feel life, experience life, touch life, see life, smell life, and experiencing all this imperfection of being human, pain and joy, love and suffering and disconnection as well. Connection. And that was extraordinary discovery, realization. The AI can assimilate all the experience, but it cannot directly experiencing life. So that is the new message I'm sharing, as you said. It's difficult put into words. It's the felt feeling, it's the feeling of the heart, but also feeling of the entire body. It's like a deeper level of meaning of being human. The experience of being human is less about what is the mind, what is consciousness, what is before life, what is after life. You know, difficult putting into words.
<a class="no-underline" href="#initiation-meditation-with-hand-on-heart">Initiation Meditation With Hand On Heart</a>
Speaker 3 · 18:38Actually, I want to do a meditation together. And just simply putting your hands on top of your chest. And if it's safe, they can close your eyes. Yeah, make sure you're not driving this moment. And simply feel the presence of your own body. And with these powerful words, I call these words initiation to our own body. And the simple words, the first one you can join me together. Without this body, I do not exist as a human being. Together. Without this body, I do not exist as a human being. Without this body, I do not exist as a human being. Feel this truth. The truth of your own existence. The truth of your own body. Beyond any story, any assumption, any concept. Simply feel the presence of your body, the presence of your own existence. The second truth. Without this body, I cannot experience life as a human together. Without this body, I cannot experience life as a human. Without this body, I cannot experience life as a human. Embracing, honoring all the sensation, feeling, experience of life inside your own body. Both comfortable and comfortable. Beyond any mental story, mental assumption, mental label. Now the searches. Without this body, my soul cannot evolve in this lifetime together. Without the spotting, my soul cannot evolve in this lifetime. Without the spotting, my soul cannot evolve in this lifetime. Feel the inseparable nature of your body and your soul. Even beyond any concept, any label. The wholeness of life existing inside of your body. The oneness of life existing inside of your own body. You cannot reach in the energetic presence of your body. Encalms in both physical and non-physical. Encoming both the known unknown. The energy presence of your own existence. Naturally connecting to the energy presence of the earth beneath us. Naturally connecting with the energy presence of the universe above us. Naturally connecting with the energy presence of life around us. Continuously feel, simply feel the presence of yourself. The wholeness of yourself. Inseparable. With the wholeness of life. Feeling the inner sense of aliveness, likeness, peacefulness. And whenever you're ready, you can gently open your hand. Softly open your eyes slowly. Continuously move your body freely. Feel the deep sense of intimacy with your own body. Sense of curiosity with your own body. And that calls us as initiation meditation, initiating to your own body.
Speaker 1 · 23:10Yeah, there's a fullness of experience. And for me, a lot of gratitude for the body and experiencing the body freshly, sort of in a awakened way, in a way, like a lot of life.
23:25Yeah.
Speaker 1 · 23:26Yeah, it's a wonderful reconnection. I really appreciate you incorporating a meditation and a practice here. This is the mindfulness exercises podcast where we don't want to get stuck in concepts or stuck in our heads, but rather to feel it, experience it, awaken from this embodied presence. So I really appreciate you bringing that into our bodies as a lived experience. I saw that in your book you do put words to this very well. It can be tricky to talk about this and put this into words, but you offered two frameworks for us to consider in this theme of reconnection. One
<a class="no-underline" href="#reframing-suffering-as-disconnection">Reframing Suffering As Disconnection</a>
Speaker 1 · 24:18is you offer the three A's of say working with pain. The A's being acceptance, activation, and appreciation in how we meet these sensations. And then you also offer a reframe of the four noble truths, reframing suffering as disconnection, which you've talked about today, and liberation as a return rather than some escape. So I feel like with the three A's and the Four Noble Truths, they feel familiar to what you're saying and coming home to the body. And so I'm curious if you could just talk about some of that a little bit.
Speaker 3 · 25:10Yeah. We need two more hours. I'm using the words as mentioned, difficult to put into words, but really I'm trying to communicate experience, but also invitation, initiation for you to discover, to feel what is true, what is true in the body. So that's the ultimate invitation, is what true is in the body. Speaking of four noble truths, summarizing that is basically the deepest cause of all suffering is ignorance. And you can extend in this two different ways. If we trace deeper, deeper, ultimately, Buddha's teaching, the ultimate cause of suffering is ignorance. In the modern language, is recognizing that all experience is based on perception. How we perceive in life is determining how we experience in life and determine whatever outcome, whether it's health, relationship, job, whatever you want to realize in this lifetime. This is a new framework in the modern language. My interpretation of the Buddha's teaching is that if you have limited perception, then you can have limited experience. If you have most open, liberated perception of life, then you experience in life as liberation. So change your perception. This is the deepest teaching, deepest practice, deepest process. Only first of all, whatever perception you have, better worse, your experience is based on your perception. So all perception always goes outwardly, looking at whatever outside of us, phenomena, looking at whatever is visible, whatever we think is familiar from what we think we know. So all this perception is happening without knowing. So when we are externally focused, then we're losing not only the connection, what's inside of us already, looking for the right thing in the wrong place. But when we go inwardly, we're still looking based on our own perception. We're looking whatever we're looking for based on our perception, assumptions, stories, labels, whatever that means. So the invitation is to go beyond that. Oh, recognizing this body is beyond what you think, beyond story, beyond your diagnosis, beyond, way beyond what the science is teaching us at all. This body is way beyond this analogy of different spiritual traditions, even belief system, assuming this body is a container for the spirit.
Speaker 4 · 27:48Is that true? No, this body is more than a container. More like, oh, this body is a cup existing already, the spirit comes in, live there for a while, then leave. Boom. Like that.
Speaker 3 · 28:00I don't know who started this analogy. It becomes a belief system, actually. In all tradition, actually, even. It's crazy. I'm here to challenge that assumption, that establishment, actually. So from that kind of analogy, belief system, whatever the scientific study, backup, or whatever these, it's all based on assumption. You know, the quantum physics is reviewing another level of truth. What you observe is based on what you perceive. This limited perception, whether it's scientific or even spiritual, continuously creating this limited assumption. The chapter seven, if anybody got the book, I want to make sure you read the chapter seven.
<a class="no-underline" href="#six-levels-of-perceiving-the-body">Six Levels Of Perceiving The Body</a>
Speaker 3 · 28:46In that chapter seven, I map out the sixth level of perception of our own body. You can be very familiar when pointing out there's more detail in the book. You can discover that. So first we're perceiving this body only as a tool, as a machine. You use it, you trash it when it's not functional, or use it, trying to have experts to fix it. It's the idea of a rental vehicle, for example. And that's a common assumption of this body. And I want to ask everybody, you know, what's the implication of that when you perceive your body as a machine only, as a tool only? What is the implication to your life? How experiencing life, just purely mental data processing. And then the body just a machine, hardware. And the second perception of this body is just like biological, whatever biological chemistry ingredients, analyzing everything, how everything should suppose to function a certain way, then you're fixing it, whatever, you know, approach to fixing this biological system function. That's a little bit more than just hardware, right? By hack is functioning in this level. You do all these whatever approach trying to fix in the function. Even functional medicine, still focus on that level. And the next level, a little bit different, is relational relationship. Tangible example. Some of us, oh, another level is more like uh psychological. It's like this body carrier history. Yes, it's true. This body has certain stories, whatever diagnosis might be, including trauma, for example. And that's kind of approaching it more than just biological chemistry, it's more like a profile of who we are. It's some level is true. But that's it's one relationship, one perception. And next level is energetic. When you're perceiving your body as energy, suddenly, complete different experience. The moment you're visualizing your body as a fountain of light, fountain of energy, the moment you imagine your body beyond just physical, connecting with energy of the earth, energy of the universe, you start feeling different. Yes, it's still the same body, but your perception changed. And that perception changed, changed your relationship, changed your experience, changing the outcome. And then even another level is mystical. That's concerning the mind-body connection in a deeper level. When you perceive in the mind-body separate, then the relationship is more like okay, is the mind control the body, or body is controlling the mind. How the mind, body interacting, and that's this kind of normal way we study mind-body connection. Here is the invitation to go further. Not one is more important than others, they're equally important, they're separable part of you. Without the body, the mind cannot function. You cannot think. Without thinking, without mental capacity, the body cannot function either. You become dead, become a vegetable machine. The mystical experience is you're letting go of any separation. We talk about oneness with existence, oneness with the universe, oneness with life. But how can you be experiencing the oneness without experiencing the oneness inside of your own mind body? When you perceive your own mind body separate, how can you experience the oneness of the universe? It's absolutely not possible, not even logical. That is the imitation. I'm not saying all these six levels of perception is wrong. I'm asking the question: what is the implication of this limited perception? We're experiencing this implication. It's about us, about me, about you, about every human being. It's not about someone else, it's not about something
<a class="no-underline" href="#the-three-a-s-for-healing-pain">The Three A’s For Healing Pain</a>
Speaker 3 · 32:47else. The 3a practice, as you mentioned, is the most powerful way to access that truth. Back to that. First is acceptance, but it's not about acceptance of someone else or something else. It's about internal acceptance of this moment, not as a concept. Inside of your own body, what is true? You close your eye, you feel your own body. Oh, I feel pain, feel tightness, feel stress, feel overwhelmed, feel joy, feel peace, feel love, whatever is true for you. You're experiencing that in your body. It's not like you're thinking about should you feel this, shouldn't we feel this? Is wrong feel that and right feel this? We're constantly thinking. It's coming home from externally lost to internal, but not only internal to your mind, but internal to your body. So that's the deeper journey. Often we say the most powerful universal spiritual journey is only 18 inches from here to here.
Speaker 2 · 33:53And that's all the most difficult one.
Speaker 3 · 33:56This intention. Oh, I'm coming back to my body, I'm feeling my body, I'm accepting my body instead of fighting the body, I'm discovering the truth in my body instead of story of it, projection of it, or trying to fix anything. It's a radical acceptance as of friend Tara Brahar, highlighting that it's very much the same journey here. But you go to your body to the cellular level, whatever is true inside of you. And the second piece is activation. More you discover the truth inside of you, you start to discover the deeper layer of the truth. Oh, this body is beyond an object. This body is beyond a hardware, beyond a story. This feeling takes you to a deeper place of realizing the profound nature of this body. Cannot be really defined. It's life, it's mystery, it's creation, it's everything you're experiencing, your existence, period. So from that place, you continue to explore, you're feeling alive, you're feeling softening, you're feeling opening, you're feeling connecting, or realizing this subtle energy, invisible energy. The body is physicalized energy, visible, tangible, and yet beyond the physical, tangible, visible, this subtle energy, invisible, non-physical. And so you start to feel that, discover that. So simple approaches in simple practice, such as think of positive thoughts. Beautiful. And your body starts softening, you feel better. But when you go to the heart, imagining the energy of your heart expanding, opening beyond thoughts, beyond a story, you start to feel it. Feel a deeper sense of joyfulness, aliveness, softness, loving kindness. It does not depend on uh object or subject of love or joy. It's you. So experiencing love as you, experiencing joy as you, not like I love someone else, therefore I'm experiencing love. So you experience yourself as love, as joy. It's a different kind of experience. So you're activating the deeper truth, deep energy. Basically, you're activating the source of life inside of you, the source of joy, the source of creativity, the source of vitality inside of you. So that's a deeper activation. What are you returning to? Naturally, the source energy softening, opening, connecting again, then affecting all levels of function, your physical function, emotional connection, emotional experience as well, mental spiritual capacity. So the third aim is more appreciation, and it's also internally appreciating this whole process, the internal unconditional acceptance, the internal energetic activation, the change started happening. You are the one initiating it, you're the one experiencing it, you're the one sharing that. So that's a deeper appreciation. And so that's the whole summary of the three A practices. So it's not just concept. You're doing the meditation. In the beginning, could it be three minutes, extending to five minutes, and longer you do it, then stronger you start to feel eventually become a muscle, a new muscle.
Speaker 1 · 37:32Beautiful. Ming
<a class="no-underline" href="#where-to-go-deeper-with-training">Where To Go Deeper With Training</a>
Speaker 1 · 37:33Tang Goo, thank you so much for sharing all this. I know we're just scratching the tip of the iceberg here. We're touching on topics that we touch on with our podcast and our website from different angles, but I really appreciate the wisdom and the energy in which you're sharing all this. And it feels like there's so much integration here with all of the core themes of mental health, physical health, spiritual health, and what it means to truly heal, but to experience the magic and the love of being human. We need this in this time of AI and screen addiction, post-COVID trauma and ignorance. So for everyone listening and watching, if you want to go deeper with Master Ming Tonggu, I highly encourage you to check out his book, Coming Home to Embodied Awakening. You can find it at Mingtongguo.com forward slash book. If you order there, you'll also receive a free collection of teaching videos from Mingtong. You'll find these links in the show notes along with his website at Mingtongguo.com, the Qi Center, and the socials for Wisdom Healing, Qigong, and Mingtonggu. Master Gu, it's such a pleasure to see you and to learn from you today. It's really nice to reconnect with you. I've always been a big fan. I think I first heard about you through Ajan Amuro, who used to be the co-abbot of a Bayagiri Buddhist monastery where I was a monk for a while. And Ajan Amuro had a big crush on you. He really likes you a lot. And for me, that was high praise. And it was just a treat to experience your teachings at Spirit Rock. And I may just end up visiting you in Santa Fe in a couple years.
Speaker 2 · 39:41Such a magic place. And also you mentioned you were born here. It's just grateful to live here so close to Mother's healing energy here.
Speaker 3 · 39:51And thank you so much for this opportunity and for sharing your gift, your presence. Always love to connect with you. Such beautiful after all these years, like big circle, come back together. So for our listeners, I want to really inspire you to discover your inner journey. And in any way I can help support, inspire, enable you to your next step. I'll be so grateful. We do offer ongoing online program training, have an amazing dedicated community. And everything we do is healing, spiritual awakening is inseparable. And also I offer literature in Santa Fe and very extended literature one week long to four weeks long. So love to see you some point. Yeah, in Oly Tree Center as well. Thank you so much. Blessing. Blessing.

Speaker 1 · 40:44a lot of our community are either aspiring mindfulness and meditation teachers, or they're already sharing mindfulness practices. But for everyone listening, please consider sharing qigong practices and learning from Ming Tong Gu on how you can incorporate these other healing modalities with your therapeutic offerings, counseling, yoga. Everything that Ming Tonggu offers is very complimentary. And I think as you've listened today, can often go deeper than some things that we're offering. So highly recommend all of Ming Tonggu's trainings and teachings, retreats, etc. Try to be in his presence as well. It's magical. Thank you. Thank you again, Xiao. You too. Thank you so much.
