A note from Sean
One of my favorite practices is to notice “I am stressed” and shift it to “there is stress.” The “I am” feels fixed. With “there is,” we can see the stress changing as we pay attention to it. It might intensify, soften, or move.
Try this today. Set a timer for ten minutes, or start with five. Close your eyes. Each time you notice a thought, a feeling, or a body sensation, name it with one word: thinking, feeling, or sensation. If you notice judgment, name that too, and carry on.

This suits anyone facing something they can’t control. If your thoughts feel overwhelming, or grief or fear is close, go gently. Open your eyes and feel your feet whenever you need to. Stop when you need to.
