Welcome everyone. My name is Sean Fargo, founder of Mindfulness Exercises, former Buddhist monk of two years, instructor for the mindfulness program at Google. I've been spending the last 10 years teaching people how to teach mindfulness and meditation in professional settings. Today I thought I'd like to share a guided mindfulness meditation practice around expecting nothing and appreciating everything. So this will cultivate a sense of peace in the mind, relaxation in the body, and gratitude in the heart to help us to feel a sense of ease during our day. We can also use this to fall asleep too if we wish. This guided meditation is going to be quite simple. Every couple of minutes will be uh toggling between the two to help us to not grasp on to any certain kind of feeling or expectation and to help us to open to the wonder of each unfolding moment with a sense of awe and wonder and gratitude. So if you'd like, you can find a posture that feels comfy and cozy, and also a posture the way you can cultivate a sense of ease and appreciation. Maybe taking a deep breath or two. Just allowing ourselves to feel however we feel. Each moment is a mystery. Appreciating each moment as if it could be our last without holding on to any expectations. So I hope that meditation was helpful for you. If you'd like to learn how to guide mindfulness meditations or teach mindfulness to others, please check out the links in the description. Or go to mindfulnessercises.com. We need more peace in this world. A little more mindfulness and heartfulness. So I hope that you join me in sharing these practices with others, with your community, your workplace, your family. I'd be honored to support you on that path. So I wish you a sense of not expecting a sense of appreciating all these little moments of our lives, however they are. Each one is a gift. Thanks again for coming, and I wish you well. Thank you.
