Speaker 1 Β· 0:06Thank you all for coming. I'm very excited to be with all of you today. Very honored to welcome Baba Mintaza here today and to have Danisra join us as well. You know, as a part of our mindfulness teacher training, I think it's um important that we emphasize our connection with the natural world. We're composed of the natural world. We are part of the natural world. Part of my mission is to help share these practices of mindfulness with people for the sake of treating each other well as well as treating other beings well and treating our planet well in a sustainable, compassionate way. Very excited to invite his unique perspective and his wisdom as a healer, as an activist, as a peacemaker. So very honored to have him join us today. Welcome, Baba Mendaza. Thank you for coming.

Speaker 2 Β· 1:44Nice to be together here.

Speaker 1 Β· 1:46So we would be um grateful for uh your words of wisdom around our connection with uh nature, with um being present in this world of challenge and volatility. All of us here are people who share these principles of mindfulness and presence uh with others. And so we would be grateful for any words that you may have to share with our community during these challenging times.

Speaker 2 Β· 2:26Thank you so much, brother. And the subject you have chosen for our world is very important, very crucial. What we are holding into our hands right now, the lights we have in that room, and the gadgets we're holding in our hands, the furniture we are using in that room, all these things are a gift from Mother Nature. The food that we eat every day, the cups of tea, coffee, you name it, including the cups themselves, they are gifts from Mother Earth. Let us look at San Francisco, that beautiful city. It is beautiful because it is dressed with the gifts that come from Mother Earth. We sleep on very comfortable and expensive beds. We need to give ourselves a moment to think about where that beautiful and comfortable bed comes from. We can fly to New York from wherever you are in this world, anytime. Those planes, those airport, massive airports, they are gifts again from Mother Nature.

Speaker 3 Β· 4:00For your body to be your body, to be as it is, healthy looking.

Speaker 2 Β· 4:12So the care that it gets from other nation, it is important for humanity to understand then what nature means and what nature it is importance.

Speaker 3 Β· 4:38We take Mother Nature for granted because we don't understand her.

Speaker 2 Β· 4:48I cannot blame humanity for not understanding her because it is not one of the subjects that we learn about in schools, in religions and in all cultures. If it was one of the main subjects that is taught in human families and communities, maybe we'll be able to understand the value and importance of mother nature. We take mother nature for granted. That is true. It is hardly talked about in religions, for example, in traditional communities. It's a subject that is non-existent at the moment. And it has been non-existent for many, many, many thousands of years. We think it's just nature. We live on nature. We are looking at nature as observers of nature, we are looking at it from a distance.

Speaker 3 Β· 6:08We are excluding ourselves from the word nature.

Speaker 2 Β· 6:14Hence, we don't take good care of her whatsoever. If we look at Mother Nature as observers, we don't care. We begin to control it, we begin to fight over the control of that nature because it is there somewhere out there, because we are observers. But if we included our include ourselves, as we should do, we begin to take care of ourselves first, because we are part of that nature. My dear friends, Mother Nature is the mother who gave birth to everything that exists. She is a woman we should respect profoundly.

Speaker 3 Β· 7:19We should take care of her in the best way possible.

Speaker 2 Β· 7:25The moment we begin to take the best way possible, you see how much more blessings she can give to all creation. When I look at Mother Nature myself, I see my ever-living ancestor.

Speaker 3 Β· 7:51She's the beginning, the now, and the tomorrow.

Speaker 2 Β· 7:57She is the yesterday, she is the today, she is going to be the tomorrow. Human mind needs to understand that.

    Speaker 3 Β· 8:12Human mind first.

Speaker 2 Β· 8:17Once the human mind has been transformed into that beautiful power that comprehends everything, then human life will change to something amazing that humanity has never experienced. I see that humanity has a lot of work to do to transform human mind so that it becomes a spiritual mind that comprehends the beauty of Mother Nature and all her gifts to all creation. We have beautiful buildings that have been established in this world.

Speaker 3 Β· 9:09Example being the United Nations Building, for example. The temples in Israel, the pyramids in Egypt, they all come from the body of Mother Nature. Mother Nature is our goddess. She is indeed our goddess. She is the creator.

Speaker 2 Β· 9:44I understand that there is this one, this great spirit we call God or Goddess. This great spirit that calls himself and herself the I am, meaning I am everything, has shown us unconditional love, not only for humanity, but for all her creation. Mother Nature says, if you want to know me, and if you want to see me, that very same God says the same thing. If you want to see me, and if you want to know me, your living God, your living goddess. Just look at my creation. Which creation is this God or Goddess talking about? Is she including humanity at all?

Speaker 3 Β· 10:57That's my question. Is she including humanity at all? The I am, everything, is inclusive.

Speaker 2 Β· 11:08She is inclusive. My question, the question that is coming from Mother Nature herself is since you now understand who I am, for she has introduced herself to say, I am the I am the creator, the ancestor, the God, the goddess.

Speaker 3 Β· 11:43The Holy Spirit, she says, the ancestor, she says. You now have heard it from the word, my own word in Mandaza's voice. What are you doing about it? How is your relationship with me now? How has your relationship been like? Do you love that relationship at all? Is it a beautiful relationship?

Speaker 2 Β· 12:33I wonder. My own relationship with Mother Nature is not that good yet. My Dasmandaza speaking for myself.

Speaker 3 Β· 12:46I still have a lot of challenging homework to go and do about what Mother Nature has shared with us today.

Speaker 2 Β· 13:01If we have people in this world whose relationship is lovely and beautiful, smooth sailing, I say congratulations to them for doing an amazing job of connecting with this beautiful woman, Madame Nature. We need to go back home first and look at your own self in your own mirror and see your own story of how you have been related and connected to this woman, Mother Nation.

Speaker 3 Β· 13:53This is my personal advice.

Speaker 2 Β· 14:00If we are to have a peaceful world at all, we cannot, my dear friends, and we have no power whatsoever to control this woman. We think and believe we have the power to control it. That's why we are spending lots of monies and monies to go to other lands of this world to take over the land, Mother Nation. Thinking and believing that once you take it by force, it is going to belong to you. That's a big lie. That's a big lie. Humans found the land where it is today. Many nations have tried their best. They've tried a lot to control the earth, it's still it is still in the hands of Mother Nature. The land that we bought, it is still in the hands of Mother Nature, the Creator, the ancestor. If we want to continue living on Mother Nature, you knowing and remembering that you are also a branch of Mother Nature, will receive amazing gifts and blessings from her for our current generation, future generations.

Speaker 3 Β· 15:59Let us never ever temper with Mother Nature. You must become that land yourself. For you are indeed that part of the land. Nobody is trying to control this land, you.

Speaker 2 Β· 16:23If there are any people out there in the world who have tried to control other humans, they have failed dismally. They cannot control other humans because their mother nature. She is uncontrollable. She is, we cannot own her. She owns humanity, she owns everything that exists, including you and me.

    Speaker 3 Β· 17:01We belong to her.

Speaker 2 Β· 17:02We must improve and work very hard, vigorously, and very seriously to establish that relationship she's calling for. Again, I asked the same question: how is your relationship as a branch of Mother Nature with the whole entire nature?

Speaker 3 Β· 17:32Is there some potholes in your relationship? Please look at them and begin to heal the you who is the wounded part of Mother Nature.

Speaker 2 Β· 17:54Look for medicines that you can use to heal the wounded heart of you, humanity.

Speaker 3 Β· 18:06We are tempering with life that we must never ever temper with. I want to stop here briefly. We want to go into deep, silent meditation right now.

Speaker 2 Β· 18:26Meditation, the subject that I'm giving you, that we are being given by Mother Nature is the you. We need to pray for you. We need to pray for yourself. Likewise, I'm going to go into meditation right now for myself because I know my relationship with Mother Nature must improve tremendously. Two minutes meditation. Go deep into the teaching that this great woman, the woman of love and compassion, has shared with us today. This moment.

Speaker 3 Β· 19:24Close our eyes. After two minutes, we'll come back into ourselves again. The chairperson will ring a bell.

Speaker 2 Β· 19:44Twenty two minutes, three minutes is over. Thank you.

Speaker 1 Β· 22:21His wisdom reminds us of the sacred bond that we share with Mother Nature and the responsibility that we all have to nurture that relationship. We encourage you to continue reflecting on today's teachings through the guided meditation that Baba led. And be sure to listen to part two of this series, where Baba dives even deeper into the profound lessons that Mother Nature has to teach us, and where he shares additional insights to inspire your journey.
