Empowering new mindfulness teachers

With unprecedented rates of anxiety, insomnia, stress, and trauma, our mission is to help heal people and to empower new mindfulness teachers - one moment at a time.

Since 2014, we've helped more than 20 million people enhance their mindfulness and to share best practices for the sake of healing, connection, embodied integration and resilience. These are our core values.

What we stand for

Generosity

Generosity is our primary practice. We offer over 2,000 FREE online resources to support individuals, teachers and organizations - and add more free content every day.

Compassion

Compassion is empathy in action. Mindfulness has the power to free us from our pain, for a life of happiness and ease - and it’s our wish that all beings everywhere realize this potential.

Community

Community is our reason for being. We exist because of you, and we’re here for you. Together, we’ll create the world we long to live in.

About Sean Fargo

Founder of Mindfulness Exercises

After deeply immersing myself in mindfulness practice as a Buddhist monk in Thailand for 2 years, I noticed a shift in the way I related to myself and others that I wanted to bring to the communities around me. Since then, I have spent the last 15 years focused on sharing mindfulness practices across organizations, into the community, and across the globe.

I have worked alongside mindfulness pioneers such as Jack Kornfield, Gabor Maté, Rick Hanson and Sharon Salzberg, and I have taught mindfulness and meditation for corporations including Tesla, Kaiser Permanente, Facebook, Ernst & Young, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Additionally, I serve as an Instructor for the mindfulness program born at Google.

Mindfulness is being aware of our moment-to-moment experience without judgment. Simple, but not easy. As a father and a husband, I understand how hard it can be to remain fully present in the seemingly ordinary moments of daily life. I am here to help.

What Our Students Say

We're honored to work with compassionate professionals from around the world. Here's what a few of our students have to say:

“They were asking me what my mindfulness and meditation teaching credentials were... and this was a big thing that was holding me back. Mindfulness Exercises was the perfect way to establish my credibility.”

John - Mindfulness Teacher Certification

John Macaskill

Former Navy Seal & Mindfulness Coach

“I already had several mindfulness certifications, but the difference in working with Sean is he makes himself available for the 1-on-1, individualized work that I felt I needed.”

Laurie - Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification

Laurie Giannola

Psychotherapist at Kaiser Permanente (one of the largest healthcare systems in the USA)

“I found programs that cost $5,000 to $7,000... and programs that were much less expensive but had no interaction with a mentor, and the credentials behind the other certifications seemed questionable...”
